Two days after Christmas, Vinny and Sabrina celebrated their love for one another with a small wedding in Utica. The couple had imagined their wedding day to happen aboard a cruise ship, but changed their day to fit the times, and included closest family and friends to share in the moment as they said their "I do's" at Vinny's parents house in Utica, NY.
The afternoon started out when I met Vinny and Sabrina for their first look at Utica Station. This spectacular building with gothic columns was built at the turn of the 20th century. There are fewer places that could boast a more lovely wintertime setting for a first look that the station. We were fortunate to have the entire building pretty much to ourselves! Sabrina's gorgeous gown and fur shawl could not have better fit the elegance of the setting.
The outside of the buidling is just as striking as the inside, boasting a lovely old train engine, which provided a unique background for some pictures. I was so excited when I spotted it through the window! How did I miss this the last time I was there???
I loved this area for the portraits! It had such a 1920's vibe, and it just oozed sophistication.
Once we were done with portraits, we made the quick drive to Vinny's parent's house, were friends and family were eagerly awaiting the arrival of the couple.
When I asked Vinny who was officiating, I was so excited to hear that it was his own father doing the honors. What a wonderful moment for any couple; to be married by a parent.
Congratulations to Vinny and Sabrina! Happy New Year to this gorgeous couple.
