I was so excited to work with Ricky and Brian. I have known Ricky since I was a kid myself and was so happy to help them capture their gorgeous new baby in their Chicago home. I love photograhing newborns in their homes with their parents. Ricky and Brian make are the cutest dads, just look at them with their princess, crown and all!

For at home newborn lifestyle sessions, I enjoy going to multiple rooms, the living room can make a great backdrop along with babies nursery. I also always bring a basket too so we can do some sweet basket shots. Some of my favorite wraps for sessions are Deanie Baby organic swaddles or other similiar styles. These wrap the best and keep the baby nice and cozy.

This beautiful blanket and body suit was perfect for the basket shots, and puppy was super interested in his new family member! I can’t wait to photograph her again when she is bigger!
