Katie & Derik chose to get ready at the beautiful Liberty Hotel in Boston with their closest friend’s and family as well as their two beautiful children. I absolutely love this hotel! It has a very unique style seeing that it previously served as the Charles Steet Jail for over 120 years! It still has hints of it’s old life such as barred windows here and there along with a lobby reminiscent of an old “cell block"combined with a modern trendy update.

For their ceremony they chose the historic St. Leonard’s Church in the North End, one of the oldest churches built by Italian Immigrants in America. This was perfect since it is adjoined to the reception space at Assagio’s, a cozy Italian restaraunt with amazing food and a room on the second floor that is perfect for micro weddings in the city. From the perfect first dance with the bridal party providing awesome lighting with their phones to the realization that I left my phone in the car and I had to run three blocks in the rain…OoPs. I will not forget this one any time soon!
