We love an opportunity to shoot anywhere out across the FLX, and this sweet engagement session was no different! We had so much fun exploring the charming town of Skaneateles with Adriana and Michael. This lakefront village is super special to them, so it was only fitting that we did their engagement photos there. Read on to hear why Skaneateles holds such a dear place in their hearts!

Q: Tell us the story of how you met!

A: "Michael and I met about a year after he moved back to Rochester from Chicago. The timing and stars aligned and we were placed in each other’s paths.

Q: What was the first date like?

A: “Our first date was at JoJo's Restaurant in Pittsford. We met for a drink and the conversation was effortless. Leaving that date we both knew we wanted to see each other again."

Q: What's your favorite story about the two of you?

A: “The best part of our story is how well we compliment one another. Michael makes me laugh everyday. We truly are each other’s best friend. I think early on we both knew we had found ’the one’."

Q: What are you looking forward to most in your future together?

A: “We are most looking forward to our wedding this coming spring!"

Q: Tell us about the proposal!

A: "We made it our goal over the summer to visit each of the Finger Lakes. When we had finally visited our last lake, which was close to Skaneateles, we took some time to walk around the area and enjoy all the shops and quaint spots the town has to offer. Our final stop before heading home was a walk out on the pier. It was right there that Michael popped the question! He said that we had completed our adventure of visiting all the lakes and asked if l would go on a new adventure with him."
