Q: Tell us the story of how you met!

A: "Steven and I met online in 2011, before it was as commonplace as it is now, so we didn’t tell other people for months how we really met - we said we met at the gym!"

Q: What's your favorite story about the two of you?

A: "I have a favorite childhood stuffed animal from when I was born that I still own to this day. The stuffed animal has been patched and patched over so that its more patching than original material, but it is something I still cherish. One Valentine’s Day, Steven found someone that makes replicas of the stuffed animal I loved from childhood and surprised me with a new one."

Q: What are you looking forward to most in your future together?

A: "Traveling and growing up together - getting to enjoy all of life’s stages."

Q: What was the first date like?

A: "Steven is from Staten Island and I had just moved there, so he planned a date at one of the popular pizza spots in the area. We were both really interested in each other so we followed dinner up with a trip to a local bakery for cannolis and chocolate covered strawberries."

Q: Tell us about the proposal!

A: "It was a total surprise. I was meeting with my boss and we were supposed to end the day by going for a late lunch meeting with a fellow colleague. When we showed up at the restaurant there was a violinist playing and Steven was there waiting to propose to me. After he popped the question, our family and friends showed up to celebrate with us - it was a perfect day!"

Q: Tell us about your wedding day!

A: "Our wedding day was on September 2, 2018. We got married on Seneca Lake and were lucky enough to be able to celebrate our marriage with 120 friends and family members. One of our favorite memories was of us taking pictures on the front lawn during sunset and being able to look up at the balcony behind us and see all of our guests waving at us singing 'Sweet Caroline'."
