Sara and David’s spring wedding at Lyman Orchards is coming up soon and I can’t wait for it. When they booked with me last spring, we chatted online, so I was so excited to meet them in person for their engagement session, and even more excited when they decided they wanted to do a lifestyle session in their new home.
Lifestyle portrait sessions are all about capturing natural, candid moments and your home is one of the best places to get these! For Sara and David’s session, we captured lots of shots of them snuggling up together on the couch, some playful images in the kitchen, them cozy on the floor in their brand new home, out their front door and even took a few outdoors in their backyard.
One of the things I love most about Lifestyle sessions (which I also offer for family portraits and newborn sessions) is that they allow me to get to know my clients on a more personal level, since I get to see and photograph them in their element. Since I hadn’t met Sara and David in person prior to their engagement session, this was the perfect opportunity to chat with them, find out a little more about them and also get a feel for how they interact on camera, which is so important to ensure that photography on the wedding day goes smoothly!
I am so excited to start my 2021 wedding season with them!
