Southern California holds a special place in our heart as a family. We’ve been traveling there since early 2017 due to my husband's company having an office out there and then family in the area as well. We try to make at least two trips to the Golden State a year but Covid last year kept us from that salty air and anxious to get back there this year!

I first "met" Monique about 10 years ago on the What To Expect website when a small group of us were all trying to get pregnant. We ended up moving our small group to Facebook and have formed this amazing bond over the years-- with some of us never meeting! We span the globe from all over the United States to Ireland, the U.K. and Australia.

When I announced wanting to do family sessions on the beach in SoCal, she quickly responded and we couldn't wait to finally meet in person!

Both of her children are exactly how I imagined from her posts and even her ex-husband came along to get some photos with the kids. This absolutely made my heart smile because I believe that children should see their family in photos, IN PRINTED PHOTOS! No matter the situation. Your parents are a part of you and the very reason you are who you are. So, needless to say, the kids were excited to have both parents with them, having fun in the chilly Pacific Ocean and their toes in the sand.

Monique, my fellow Blue Lady, I am soooo happy to finally meet you! We've all been through so much and truly are all such great friends. I can't wait to plan another trip out to Cali and do this again!
