When it comes to outdoor sessions, our amazing city of Naperville has the most diverse locations. We can go full on open fields, downtown Naperville, around the riverwalk for something different with a water feature or even find one of the many cool barns.
When we have a full hour for your family session, I like to make sure we get some nice portraits of each kiddo in the family. I don’t know about you but at my kids’ school, their annual yearbook photos make me absolutely cringe. A simple run through of mom’s hand through their hair and another sibling behind me making a silly face can make ALL the difference. Creating a classic photo allows the kids to have some one-on-one attention from not only me but also when photos are printed and displayed on their walls.
Due to Covid, many parents did not have the opportunity to have their child’s yearbook photo taken. At each session, I make sure to get one nice portrait of each child so that parents can print and display (and even gift to family members!) the images of each child. It’s been proven that children love and thrive when they see images of themselves around the home. These images are definitely better than any you will get from the typical school photo.
Toward the end of each session, I like to get families in the grass and playing around. Usually I’ll ask who is the silliest or who has the smelliest toots?! I know, a bit gross but it definitely gets those kiddos to laugh and smile!
If you or someone you know is looking to update those dusty frames on the wall, I’d love to get you on the schedule or a spring or summer session. Booking is super easy. All you need to do is head on over to my contact page to fill out the short form to get started. I’ll email you back shortly and we can go from there. See you soon!
