A few fun facts for your enjoyment :

- I’m in love with listening to big band swing and have been deeply inspired by music from the 50’s + 60’s. ✨

- I bought this hat at an antique store almost 7 years ago and wore it for my senior photos back in the day. 💁🏻‍♀️

- James and I have known Tim since he and James were 11 years old. 🤯

- I’ve been heavily impacted by nostalgic B&W film photos of couples from the 20’s to the 60’s. There’s something so pure and unposed that breeds a feeling in me that I can’t seem to shake.

So I styled a session to encompass some of those feelings and make these images come to life. Tim + Karsyn were the perfect couple to help me bring my mad scientist brain to life and create imagery my heart is so proud of.

This session is a brain child that I’ve been dreaming of for the last few years, and to finally see it come together was just about as magical as it gets.

I found some dreamy dresses on Shein, we styled our hearts out, I found the perfect locations, and we tried out some of the most unique prompts that turned out to be some of my favorite images I’ve ever taken.

So now in a super long overdue blog post, the world finally get’s to see what we worked so hard on. I hope you enjoy the heck out of going through these, and that they make you feel some type of way. <3

I am so grateful for the friendship I’ve found in these two, and the relationship we’ve gotten to build through their engagement session. It’s been so precious, and makes these photos even more special to me. Love you T&K!
