When the phrase “it’s a small world” is thown around it really is crazy how connected people can be. When I first was contacted about this session, the dad wanted to organize everything for his wife and his girls so they had photos to line their walls. Walking up to them at this session and seeing this mom had my mind turning… I KNEW I had met her before but couldn’t place exactly where.

After snapping a few photos and talking to the parents about where they live and such, mom and I looked at each other and it just clicked. Our daughters used to dance at the same dance school about 7 years ago in their very first ballet class! Both of us had since moved and hadn’t been back to that school since.

One thing both parents wanted out of this session were photos that showed their love and connection to each other. I love these candid photos and it’s something that I’ve found I take more of at each session. Those little moments in between the photos of looking at me and the intimate feeling you witness makes me smile while I’m taking them.

And can we just talk about how perfect the sunshine was at this moment? It perfectly shone down on them at every spot we stopped at. Mom definitely picked the perfect delicate outfits to coordinate with the pretty greens and yellows in the background.
