We started the day at the cutest little Air B&B in the Pocono Mountains. It was literally in the middle of no where surrounded by nature (and snakes, yes I saw one while shooting details 😳). We enjoyed spending the morning capturing their getting ready process and so many little details for them to remember for years to come.
After they were ready, we headed to the cutest elopement venue in the Pocono Mountains overlooking the Appalachian Trail Ridge, Promise Ridge. Seriously. The CUTEST! They had their intimate first look amoung the many greens and surrounding nature filed area. Danced to the romantic music playing on the bluetooth. Nothing short of spectacular! We then spent the next little bit just focusing on them laughing, snuggling and kissing on each other until it was time to prepare for their intimate ceremony.
The ceremony welcomed their closest friends and family to celebrate with them amongst the surrounding greens of nature on a beautifully built infinity deck. The beautiful Celebrant, Alisa Tongg, preformed a beautiful intimate ceremony that focused on Bianca & Christian as a couple.
After the ceremony, the new couple greeted their 18 guests will hugs and laughter while enjoying a beautiful cocktail hour with some of the most delicious hors d’oeuvres by Chef Kara Snyder.
Sidenote: I am not exaggerating when I say hors d’oeuvres & dinner wwas BY FAR the absolute BEST food I have EVER eaten at a wedding. And I have ate at a LOT of weddings. And no, Kara has no idea I am posting this so this totally from my own love for GOOD food 😂😂😂
During the cocktail hour, we snuck away for a few intimate Bride & Groom portraits of the newly weds and then came back for an AMAZING dinner prepared by Kara! Laughter, tears and happiness filled the air as the evening went by with numerous speeches and toasts to the lovely couple. I could go on and on about the perfection of this day, but instead… I am just going to share a HUGE peek into their beautiful day! ENJOY!!!!
Their Story:
"Chris and I met while we were both undergrads at Rutgers University in 2011 - 2012. Neither of us knows the exact date we met since we met at a casual gathering between my sorority and his fraternity and didn’t really think much of it. October 27th, 2012 is when we first took an interest in each other. It was the Rutgers Homecoming game which we both attended with friends and we pretty much spent the whole day/night together. After that day we started spending most of our free time together (conveniently we were neighbors) and ended up spending a ton of time together during that academic year. Although Chris was very insistent that he wasn’t looking for a relationship at the time, I stuck around. In 2013 he eventually realized there was no getting rid of me 😉 and asked me to be his girlfriend. Since then we’ve accomplished a ton of milestones together: we moved in together in 2017, we purchased our first home in 2019 and now we’ve decided to take the next step in our journey and unite our lives in marriage to start building our family together. Chris proposed on Nov. 29, 2019 at a Christmas Tree farm. We went to pick out our Christmas tree and he invited his brother, SIL and our nephew so they could take photos and video (sneaky). He had an ornament made that said "Bianca will you marry me?" and when we picked our tree he placed it on the branches - once I saw it he got on one knee, I started crying, he said some words (LOL) and then I said yes :) "
And… Just for fun.. a little creative sparkler fun!!!! 😍
