I just LOVE Danada House weddings, maybe I should have lived on a farm, but being in a country like setting near horses, fields and beautiful scenery make my heart just melt….and add a gorgeous couple and my day is perfect! I was so excited to be a part of Taylor and Adam’s intimate wedding at Danada House in Wheaton this past September. It was an earlier wedding so we started off the morning with getting ready pictures at Danada House. They have such a pretty bridal sweet and the light was picture perfect. I just love the boquet that Taylor had made with heirloom broches and pins from memeber of both families. What an amazing idea and so pretty! I love when couples get ready with their parent present, there is just something so special about being with your mom/dad the moments before you get married!!
I always ask couple to tell me what they remeber as being thier favorite moment from the wedding day, it always makes me smile. Taylor told me that her favortie moment from the wedding day was "seeing Adam when I was walking down the aisle. The added bonus for both of us was when a hawk flew over us during our wedding ceremony. It made the moment seem extra special and all the butterflies and dragonflies in the area made it more magical." Adam told me his "favorite moment was seeing Taylor come down the aisle, I had not seen her in that dress until that moment. As Taylor said, with the wildlife events around us, it just felt very magical and was a happy culmination of the long road of planning and waiting for our day. My next favorite moment was our first dance. We are not dancers, we like to go with the flow. We were both a little nervous the day before about the dance, but in the moment it all felt easy. “
Danada House has a beautiful outdoor garden area for wedding ceremony, add my FAVORITE wedding officiant Reverand Jim from Rent-a-Rev and it was picture perfect! I just adore the smiles and love you can feel from the next images as vows and rings are exchanged.
After the ceremony we did some wedding party and family portraits before heading into the brunch. We had planned to do more relaxed pictures with Taylor and Adam after the party was over. This gave us the freedom to walk all over the grounds of Danada House and explore the fields for some romantic wedding portraits.
