You may remember this adorable couple from their engagement pictures with their pup and pony! They even added to their fur-family and adopted a new pup during their engagement :)
Of course the year was filled with ups and downs while wedding planning, as well as a couple venue changes along the way. With all the restriction in Massachusetts, it was hard to know who, what, when and where but these guys rolled with all of it. Along with help from their wedding planner, Abby at TMW Productions, they were able to find One Bay Avenue Events, in Rhode Island; to hold their wedding ceremony and reception.
Angela and Peter’s wedding was a beautiful New England Fall day. We started at the hotel getting ready, where the girls shared some laughs- and happy tears! Angela’s closest friends were by her side and they were so much fun to be around! Their friends surprised the couple by delivering ‘I do too’ bandanas to their doggy boarding facility. They sent the cutest picture of the pups dressed up before the wedding! The bridesmaids had beautiful burgandy colored dresses, with super cute plaid shawls that definitely came in handy while taking pictures outside!
Angela’s dad definitely got choked up when he entered the room and saw his beautiful daughter. It was a super sweet moment and even sweeter that he was able to put his family’s bracelet on Angela. I love the special pieces that are borrowed on a wedding day!
Peter and the groomsmen’s got ready over at One Bay Events and looked handsome in their gray suits. Peter had awesome sunglasses and watches made up for their groomsmen gifts. Jamey, my second photographer, was able to capture the guys getting ready and some fun images outside of them.
The venue is a picturesque spot along the harbor. Although windy, it was a gorgeous sunny day and we were grateful to be able to do pictures outside!
The soon to be newly weds chose to do a first look with each other. So we set Peter up by the water, looking out as Angela crossed the lot to him. She tapped Peter on the shoulder and as he turned his smile said it all! I don’t think he stopped smiling from that moment on! First looks are an amazing way to enjoy each other, privately, to calm the nerves. It’s such a special moment for the bride and groom, to just be together before the rest of the fun starts!
When it came time for the ceremony, these two spoke their beautifully written vows for each other. There was laughter, a punch on the arm for Peter and more happy tears.
They had a great start to the party with delicious food from Cozy Caterers, cigars, and fun speeches. Their DJ, Blake, got the dance party going around the tables! The couple's family and friends brought their serious A game when it came to the dancing!
With clear skies and a glowing sunset, we ended the night with their portraits along the waterfront :)
