I love to incorporate my senior portrait client’s passions, hobbies, and extracurriculars that they’ve been involved in and loved during their high school years. Lauren is a softball player so naturally we had to hit the field and dugout to kick off her senior portrait session.
When Lauren’s mom first phoned me to schedule her portrait session, I knew we would hit it off and have a great time together. I was right. Lauren was such fun to work with, was not afraid to be herself and to be silly (scroll for tongue out photo :)).
After we photographed Lauren in her travel softball jersey, we headed to Hartwood Acres to capture more greenery, flowers, and architecture. The flowers were perfection and we were able to capture beautiful and colorful images in the fenced garden at the park.
Naturally, no trip to Hartwood is complete without utilizing the mansion in the background. What a gorgeous gift to have here in Allegheny County. The cobblestone driveway gives such a cool background pattern as it fades off frame, one of my favorite shots to incorporate during our time there. You’ll notice that Lauren brought along some sunflowers to add an extra pop of color to her session. Sometimes when you’re out of season for a huge field of flowers, you bring your own!
