The vows have been read, they have made that eternal devotion to each other in front of God. They step outside and the realization of what just happened hits them. Jenny and Garrett are husband and Wife. Jenny dreamt of this moment since she was a little girl. That moment she first saw Garrett down in Texas. That all or nothing decision Jenny made when she dropped her life in Texas and chased after Garrett to start her life in Illinois. This was the moment, being held in the arms by her husband, her best friend, the one God created just for her.

What an incredible day in Lexington, Illinois. Right when we walked into Magnolia Salon, Jenny absolutely lit up the second we walked in the door. The makeup artists at Magnolia do an amazing job don’t they? It was so fun listen to Garrett struggling while buttoning his jacket when he was just moments away from seeing Jenny for the first time. It was such a hot day, but we were truly blessed with some cloud cover right after the ceremony when we headed out to Evergreen Lake in Hudson. It was so much fun getting to walk around and really seeing how much this day means to you both. We still can’t believe how close we came to getting rained on, it started pouring right when we got in our cars. One of our favorite moments will always be when your prized pig broke out of the pen and Garrett had to chase it down before your wedding ceremony. Watching a Groom corral a Pig fully dressed was amazing.
