Darcie and Randy had the luckiest of wedding days in more ways than one. The got married at Point Park on Grand Lake and partied down at Daven Haven Lodge. The day started chilly, and wet as Katie and I arrived while Darcie and Randy were finishing getting ready. Luckily the raindrops subsided as we ventured out for them to see eachother for the first time.
We found an aspen grove nearby where the fall colors were just starting to change, more luck. Then, two RMNP rangers were curious enough to stop by and with more luck thanks to Randy and his high ranking credentials ;) we didn’t get kicked out!
Soon the wet skies cleared just in time for the ceremony and everyone was grateful for the warm sun on their backs as Darcie and Randy tied the knot on Grand Lake.
Back at Daven Haven Lodge the partied started with toasts and soon the skies revisited with a now stronger rain shower. Luckily we all had cover and luckily it soon cleared up just in time for us to go capture a grand sunset over the lake!
Go on and see for yourself how awesome their day was. And know that it was more than just luck that brought these two together. Can’t wait to watch these two grow even stronger! -Ryan
