Kim and Jake met me for their engagement session on a beautiful fall day near Kindred, ND!

Kindred is less than an hour outside of Fargo, but it offers so many unique photo spots outside of the typical parks we see around the city of Fargo.

The first location we visited was one Jake & Kim led me to: a tree-covered road seemingly in the middle of nowhere. With all the yellow leaves, it simply looks magical!

The next location we visited is an abandoned bridge near Kindred. The sun sets in the perfect spot to make this bridge worth visiting — and as the sun started to sink behind the trees, I took out an off-camera strobe light to make some truly magical photos. (Gotta admit, I love it anytime I can take out my off-camera lighting and make some portfolio-worthy images.)

All in all, this sweet couple couldn't have asked for a better day for engagement photos. The sunset was perfect, the light and location fantastic, and their outfits top notch. The cherry on top was just that Jake and Kim were so darn fun and easy to work with!
